Kristen Roach, PSC
Patient Services Coordinator
In 2005, she suffered a complete loss of hearing in one ear; doctors couldn’t find a cause or a cure. She went to a hearing instrument specialist that couldn’t do anything to help at the time, so she went un-aided for 12 years. In 2016, she moved back to Connecticut from the Midwest to be closer to her family. Her 91-year-old grandmother decided to get hearing aids, and when Kristen brought her to the audiologist she learned about the Starkey CROS, a hearing aid system for one-sided loss. She was fitted with the system and was immediately relieved she no longer had to spend her days saying “What? Excuse me? Beg your pardon? I didn’t catch that. Say again?”
Hearing aids have made a huge positive impact on Kristen’s quality of life and she is proud to be part of the company who makes that happen for so many people.
